2024-11-09 00:28After work, I made the very sudden decision to walk into Walgreens and get both a Covid booster and a flu shot at the same time.
For the past three years, I have gotten very sick around this exact time, heading into mid-November. I do not want to be sick again. I'm already down, I don't need life to keep kicking me. I'm also spending Christmas with my girlfriend and her family, and I do not! Want! To be sick! For it!
So, vaccines. You know, while I can still get them.
I am already feeling hella groggy, and I have a feeling I'm going to mostly just be doing a lot of sleeping this weekend. I don't mind. I'm checking out until Monday.
