A beautiful day for gratitude.

First of all, I just wanna say that I had no idea whether getting myself a DW account and starting over was gonna fly. I didn't know what to expect, save for maybe speaking into the void and waiting for it to decide to speak back someday. However, those of you reading this, you've all been so kind and welcoming and helpful, and I just want to say a big thank you and extend my humble gratitude.

It's a day full of gratitude, I suppose! I also found out that I got a raise at work, which, about time. Outside, it's the quintessential spring day: warm without being hot, with a nice breeze that doesn't quite come across as chilly. One of those days that you can't help but enjoy, no matter how the rest of your day is going.

Hey, thanks for taking such a keen interest in it! I still haven't worked out exactly how I'd like to do it, and I've had people suggest that at least for my first attempt, it might be easier to host an event where there aren't any swaps or assignments, and I think I might be inclined to agree. But I've definitely still got to think about it some more, since I've got zero experience with this sort of thing. You've all been super helpful with your input! <3
